I ordered a guide as a gift for two friends as a wedding gift. Hazel & Marie did an unbelievable job designing a handmade guide for the newlyweds to start exploring their lives together through the summertime food scene. It came with everything from custom explanations for why a restaurant or bar was chosen to special upcoming events and a weekend itinerary. I'm just glad I was able to steal a snapshot (or 6) for my own selfish use!

In our first few weeks of being open, Mad About Copenhagen boosted our online following by nearly 1000 people who are enthusiastic about our project and what we are about - and it sort of just grew from there. It was a happy surprise to see people like Hazel being so generous with their time to help us on the way to success!

I know what's going on in Copenhagen restaurant wise - But i couldn't give a higher compliment than this: If I'm going out to eat, I would check @madaboutcopenhagen before!

Little did we know how bonkers it would go after Mad About Copenhagen wrote about us (Feelgood Bakery). Now whenever they post about us, we run into the kitchen and bake loads more for all the people who come as a result of the mouthwatering picture on Instagram. Thank you for keeping us on our toes!

Mad About Copenhagen was one of the first to show interest for our, (back then) very small and quite nervous, startup! From our first meeting with Hazel and crew we had such a nice, friendly and very unselfish experience. Unselfish in the sense where we really felt that the aim and goal for Mad About Copenhagen was to show and tell our story as best as possible for us as a small start up, and not so much for their own sake.

Hazel was the first one to really understand, put into words and capture in pictures, what we had been doing for the last 3 years. She caught the soul of our place in the very best way.

Mad About Copenhagen is always the first mover, to believe in us little guys and our team of great people. They tell the world about us - then everyone else comes running!

Mad About Copenhagen was one of the first in the city to visit Balderdash when we opened. Some of our drinks they posted about took on their own identity thanks to the attention they received. We've had to keep the "espresso Martini on sexy slush ice machine with bacon salt" on the menu because people kept asking for it!

When Bite Me moved to Copenhagen in February 2015, we were relatively unknown. This changed dramatically when Mad about Copenhagen attended our dinner at Roskilde Festival and wrote a fantastic article about the experience. The article was an incredible jumpstart which we still benefit from, even today. Thank you for seeing our potential and welcoming us to the creative food market!
